The THS-Headquarters (HQ)

how to get there

Our HQ is situated at the edge of the world-famous Neanderthal in Erkrath-Hochdahl, half way between Düsseldorf and Wuppertal, close to Cologne and Essen.
You can reach us by car via the the motorway-junction Hilden (A3/A46).The next railway station Hochdahl-Millrath for line S8 (Hagen-Duesseldorf-Moenchengladbach) is just 10 minutes walk away.

At the HQ you will find:

• one table 1,55x 2,75 meters plus several small tables to allow variations in tablesize, providing you with more than 4 sq.m gaming-surface,
• wargame armies for several periods and systems,
• modular terrain and single terrain-pieces as well as buildings to back up your game,
• tape-measures, dice, markers and everything else you may need,
• no time-limits on games, as they can be left as they are to be continued at the next meeting,
• an extensive library for your research,
• current and back issues of wargaming-magazines

and most of the time there will be the opportunity to join in a game immediately.

catering and accommodation

Small snacks or sweets, soft drinks, hot coffee and tea are for free (self-service).

Accommodation can be arranged (subject to availability) in a fully equipped apartment next door for up to three persons at reasonable price. Please check the apartments own website for details.

In the nearer neighbourhood you will find gas-stations, pubs, shops, fast food and traditional restaurants. Details are available on request.
